Hi, I’m Brian Fleming. My mission is to help you and your organization stand firm- even if everything around you is blowing up. I know what it feels like to struggle and have to fight my way out of tough spots, much like you. I was born into a lower-income family in a small factory town west of Detroit, Michigan. After joining the Army at 18 years old, I wounded in combat while fighting the ground war in Afghanistan. Now, as an author, speaker, and resilience trainer I’ve enjoyed the incredible honor of speaking to nearly half-a-million people in live audiences just like yours across 42 US states, in 7 countries, and on 4 continents over the past decade, teaching them how to STAND FIRM WHEN EVERYTHING AROUND THEM IS BLOWING UP in their lives and businesses.
While serving as a Team Leader in an Infantry platoon with the US Army’s 10th Mountain Division fighting the ground war in Afghanistan, my vehicle was blown up twice and I was severely wounded when a suicide bomber exploded 3-feet away from me in Kandahar. After enduring 14-months of painful burn treatments, rehabilitation, and reconstructive surgery (and bouncing back from it all), I discovered what separates the world’s most resilient people from everyone else, and those same lessons are exactly what your audience needs to know to overcome the relentless and increasing challenges they’re facing at home and in today’s overcrowded and turbulent marketplace.
I serve as a Department of Defense “Resilience Trainer” for the US Military on bases and outposts across the globe. My wife Jamie and I have been happily married for over ten years and enjoy mountains, motorcycles, and world travel. We have two awesome kids and live near Dallas, Texas.
Sharing what I’ve learned with you and your organization is one of my life’s greatest honors. If you want to not only inspire your people, but also equip them to succeed beyond the challenges they’re facing, let’s get the conversation started.
